From 27 October to 1 November, the ordinary elective general assembly of CMAS (World Confederation of Underwater Activities) took place in Charm el-Cheikh, Egypt.
Anna Arzhanova, who had reached the end of her four-year mandate as CMAS President, was a candidate for her own succession and was re-elected with her board.
For Michel Gaunard, the new president of the sports commission, there will be no big revolution concerning underwater hockey : « We will continue the actions that have been carried out for eight years now. There will be no radical changes concerning hockey. For the sports commission, the ambition will be to be a real interface between CMAS and the federations. »
