Following the Australian National Championships, the Men’s Elite National Team has been announced by coach Greg Bush. Let’s take a look at the first Elite team that announced its selection for the World Championships.
The Australian championships were not just about winning the national title. Following the finals on Sunday 21st January 2023, Greg Bush announced the 12 players who will be representing Australia at the Worlds, which will take place on the Gold Coast. Seven players who played in the last World Championships in Quebec in 2018 are back, including Amar Sarmiento, Gavan Wise and Rhys Milburn. Western Australia is by far the most represented state with 10 players.
