The date of the Welsh national championship is known !
The Nautilus is not the only competition in the UK ! On the west coast, Wales has its own national championship. The 45th edition will take place at the Haverfordwest pool on 4 December 2021, said the Welsh national team’s Instagram account.
Pembroke will defend their title on home ! The fourth-placed team in Division 2 at the Nautilus will be missing a strong opponent : Aberystwyth.
This former university team, had won the Welsh national championship in 2017 and 2018. They had even triumphed in the British Students’ Championships in 2019. Despite this, the club failed to overcome the difficulties of the COVID crisis as they no longer exist.
At the time of writing, the list of teams attending the competition is not yet available.
