The Italian men’s elite team is thinking ahead to the European Championship

During the weekend of 18-19 February, Italy began its preparation for the next Euro. The Italian players came together in Livorno for a first pre-selection camp.

In the region of Tuscany, in Livorno (Italy), the Italian men’s national team met for a first rally on the weekend of 18 and 19 February. The best players from all of Italy came together because “we are trying to make a national team for the next European championship”, explains Italian player Paride Sala. The Italians, who will not participate in the World Championship in July 2023 in Australia because “we don’t have the money to go their”, are now already looking towards the Euro. The Italian national team is trying to prepare as well as possible for the next European event with training camps. On 26 March 2023, Italian clubs will travel to San Marino to play in the Italian championship. Ten teams are expected to participate at this event.
