World Age Group World Championship : It’s time to start the time to do the accounts

U19 M :
One day seems to follow another. Two teams are advancing without the slightest slip-up. These are New Zealand and France. The only difference between the two teams is that New Zealand have played five matches and France four. For added excitement, these two nations will only meet in the last match of the round robin. Behind them, Turkey seem to be settling in as the third force after their 3-0 victory over Great Britain. Tomorrow will be a crucial day in the placement battle for the British, Colombians, Australians and South Africans. The truth of the round robins gives some indications, but will never replace that of the knockout matches.

U19 W :
In geopgraphy, the Tasman Sea separates New Zealand and Australia. In this category, 4 points separate the two nations. With a game in hand, the Kiwis are in the lead, but their 2-2 draw with Colombia may have shown the rest of the teams that anything is possible. Behind them, Australia give us the image of a team that knows each other very well and is moving forward together. Behind them, France remain in ambush in third place, ahead of South Africa and Colombia. Once again, remember that in this category, a double round robin will take place, so the physical aspect will be VERY important…

U 24 M :
Two teams are at the top in the category. Once again New Zealand and this time South Africa. The Bocks beat the French team 5-2 and Spain 2-1, sending out a message to the competition with these 5 wins in 5 matches. We can’t wait until tomorrow to see them take on the Kiwis, who have now won 6 of their last 6 games. A little further back, Australia have settled into third place in this Robin round despite a 3-0 defeat by New Zealand.
As for the rest of the standings, Turkey and Great Britain are on 9 points each, while just 5 points separate Colombia and Spain in 6th and 9th place respectively.

U 24 W :
Fourth category and once again New Zealand at the top! After scoring 24 goals in two games yesterday, they managed 23 in two games today (11-0 vs Great Britain and 12-0 vs Turkey). Still unbeaten, the Blacks are 9 points ahead of third-placed Australia. For the moment, France is the only team to keep pace with the Kiwis, trailing by 3 points. The French beat Turkey 1-0 and the USA 8-0. Colombia and Turkey follow this leading trio, just 2 points behind Australia, who face New Zealand tomorrow in what promises to be an epic encounter.
