For the first time since the COVID-19 crisis, the British Veteran Championship took place. The competition took place at the John Charles Aquatics Centre in Leeds on Saturday 3 December 2022.
This championship for players over 50 years old saw five teams compete. The South East Vets won the title on the afternoon of competition, finishing second to Auld Alliance (a non-veteran team and so disqualified). They are ahead of the Yorkshire Terriers and the Manchester of the competition’s top scorer Damien McNulty (8 goals).
