Initially set on 18th and 19th June 2022 in La Rochelle, the men’s D3 2021-2022 ultimately took place in Berck on 10th and 11th December. Eleven teams (Moirans 2 withdrew), played in the competition.

They were more than well prepared after their success at the Ligue des opens more-sport stage in La Rochelle a week earlier. The Hyeres team continues with the Division 3 title. After a difficult period during the health crisis that cost them their place in D1, H2sub began their climb to the higher divisions. « We went into the championship with one goal in mind : to win D3, » says fullback Julien Kbaier. In D1 before being declassified, the Hyeres squade have great ambitions for the coming seasons. « Our goal is to get the club back to D1, » adds the French U24 team member. Hyères won the final 5-0 against Saint-Brieuc. A promising second place before the regional championship of Brittany which will take place on 4 and 5 February 2023. For La Rochelle, the weekend did not end well. The Rochelais finished third, which was not enough to get a quota which would have allowed them to play in D2 at the end of their regional championship.
