Manche 2 of D1:
Who will compete in the 3rd Round of D1? Who will qualify for Group B? It’s difficult to say just a few days before the competition begins. The six last teams of D1 (Nantes, Saintes, Le Puy en Velay, HOPE, Morlaix, and Clermont) will have to fight to join the other eighteen teams of the first division. They will face four teams (Lille, Corbie, Squale Team, and Ermont) with the objective of getting out of this Manche 2 and reach the 3rd Round. Will Lille comeback to D1? Will Squale Team make history by reaching the highest division of French hockey for the first time? The answer will come on Saturday. Until then, don’t miss our preview. Which teams will be the favorites of the editorial team? Be patient…
Women’s Division 2:
The first national title of the season will be awarded this weekend. Fontenay and Moirans will be the favorites for these two days of competition, as they come from the first division and will want to return as soon as possible. In addition to the D2 championship title, two spots for the D1 are up for the top two teams in the final standings. La Rochelle/Saintes, Clermont/Annemasse, Lille, Squale Team/Clamart, Diderot XII, Pontivy Quimper, and Pessac will also be fighting for the championship. There are many unknowns in this D2, with bi-clubs that have never played at the national level, but don’t worry, there will also be a preview before the start of the games…
